Capture the Flag!!! (A New Caribbean Treasure Favorite)

Ahoy!!!!

Tonight, the League of Guilds held another "Capture the Flag" game -- Our guild was well represented by an awesome crew of our lady pirates : River, Cat, Sam, Beth and Lady Cynthia

After a few trial runs last nite, we couldn't wait to get to the competition tonight. After a lot of chatter and organizing of teams, the order to start was given. Admist all the blue dots racing through the map we saw our 5 little pink dots (plus another pink dot for our Observer - Blee)

We raced through Lave Gorge, Catacombs, Becketts Quarry and El Sudoron -- then entered PDF Back Beach and raced to the dinghy. Sam quickly launched her ship, Silver Strider as soon as all were on board. With hearts racing, we sailed to the Colossus and patiently waited while another ship finished it off. Soon, the ship reappeared and we made quick work of finishing it off and as it sank to Davy Jones locker, we raced to Outcast and the finish line.

We use the term "race" loosely -- most of us experienced severe lag throughout the race and at times had to stand and wait for teammates who had fallen behind (we did not keep to the code and leave them -- instead, we cheered them on and offered words of encouragement).

In the end it was agreed that this was an awesome experience and something that we want to bring to the guild as a regular guild event for fun -- thinking this could be done as a weekly event for us!

In case you're wondering -- we turned in a very respectable finish, despite the lag -- we are proud to say that our team finished 3rd!!! AWESOME JOB CREW!!!!!!!!!

that run was a blast, that was my first time doing that so was a little confused ..lol... but did okey...with everyones help.. thanks so much crew.. great job!! woot

I have to admitt it was a lot of fun!! It sounds simple, but when u add another 50 pirates running the same course it can be quite confusing going through the caves

Anyway I had a blast and I hope we have another one of these soon
